Do you ever pick up a garment “just for kicks” while you’re shopping, and in the end, buying it because you unexpectedly loved it more than anything else in your haul? That’s precisely what happened with this dress… it was quite a happy accident. I fell in love upon slipping it on because it’s incredibly soft and the cut is both flattering and sensual – a winning combination, especially because my closet lacked a maxi dress. I imagined walks on the beach or a rustic dinner at a vineyard with a gentle breeze making the skirt flutter behind me. When I’m wearing it, it gives me a shot of confidence and that je ne sais quoi – there’s no better feeling.
