You know, I might actually wear this outfit to Thanksgiving. It’s cozy, warm and comfortable but still fashion forward. The sweater is a lovely shade of beige with festive gold woven in, perfect for a casual start to the holidays. Can you believe Thanksgiving is this week? The year has absolutely flown by.

In the spirit of being grateful, I’d like to give a shout out to Mary Grace, hair color expert at Shag Salon in Madison, CT. This past weekend, she revamped my hair and gave the color more dimension. It still reads a little ombre, but I like to think of it as the trifecta: deep cocoa brown, mahogany and gold. The gold is actually highlights (gasp, the anti-ombre), and the roots to mid-shaft tone down what became a very brassy blonde. The woman is a genius and if you’re ever in Connecticut, I highly recommend her for color and Jill, her business partner, for a cut.
