Little Black Slip

BLACKSLIP_FEB20_4I am so excited to be wearing one of my favorite up-and-coming brands from lingerie market week, NOE Undergarments. Their collection is the perfect combination of feminine, sophisticated and sporty… just the kind of lingerie and loungewear I prefer mixing into my outerwear wardrobe. This particular piece, the Alfie slip, begged all kinds of questions from my non-lingerie-obsessed girlfriends, but mainly they wanted to know: when could you wear it out? My response: when would you not wear it out and about? Aside from being the perfect beachy or poolside cover up, this piece is absolutely made with the urban sophisticate in mind. The tailoring is impeccable, so it drapes in a most flattering way (especially for the small busted among us, but it would totally work for fuller busts too) and hits the body in all the right places. I think it will be one of those pieces that I’ll reach for again and again because it’s truly a dream to wear. If I was feeling particularly daring, I’d wear it with a cute, structured bandeau and high-waisted knickers, but I also imagine wearing this on a summery night out, perhaps over a Maison Close slip or any other deep-V, bodycon number.

Or, as you can see here, it makes for a truly luxurious boudoir piece worn with a pair of diamond studs and nothing else.

Is there anyplace online to purchase the slip that you know of? It looks lovely in your pictures and I especially like the back on it.
