Labor Day in New York wasn’t full of sunshine like we would have hoped. In fact, it ended up being a nod toward what’s to come: cool breezes, misty rain and overcast skies. That was fine by me, as it was perfect for hanging out on the fire escape and enjoying the view from a different perspective.

I’ve been running through outfits in my mind for the upcoming IFBCon and LuckyFABB conferences, and I think this will be perfect for IFB. It’s surprisingly rare for blogging folk to wear all black to a conference. Most don an eye catching print or color blocking ensemble, so I think this will stand out. I also want to represent that je ne sais quoi by wearing some innerwear as outerwear (of course) and this vest from Lascivious couldn’t be more perfect. It’s equal parts sweet and edgy; there’s rope in my bracelet, a leather hair piece and chains on the back of my vest. Just the way I like it .
